Board Meetings

The IEHA Executive Board is composed of members holding various positions; some are elected, some are appointed, and some are determined by other requirements. The Board meets monthly at the Indiana State Department of Health Building in Indianapolis. Its purpose is to direct the organization as a whole by bringing the individual chapters together to discuss current issues and determine future goals and objectives. Each chapter is represented by its own elected official.

All chapter reports were submitted orally and in writing to the Board.

Nominations: New auditor vacancy. Sarah Jonker nominated and accepted. Nominations are closed (again).

Publications: Ed Norris accepted nomination for committee chair. He’s thinking of doing hard copies- it’s been 2 years since those have been distributed. If that’s not feasible we need a website re-vamp. That means web development would need to be added to the budget. Josh volunteered to allocate the Spring conference surplus to web development.

Annual meeting and policy review October 20th at Valle Vista in Greenwood. Motion for IEHA to be an ‘in kind’ sponsor passed.

Spring Conference 2010: 752.08 surplus

Fall Conference 2010:  DRAFT agenda is on website.

Old Business:  CFP still needs us, should it be announced at Fall Conference?

New Business: We should look into a storage space for IEHA documents. Currently they are kept at Tammy’s house. Since we only need financial records for the past 5-7 years, she will sort through and destroy any non-historical documents older than that.

Meeting adjourned after the chapter reports.
