We are dedicated to the improvement of health through management of the
environment. We promote high standards in the environmental health profession and strive for recognition as a group that
provides services and protection for the general welfare of the public. We advocate registration and licensing of our members through
professional environmental health education certification programs.
Central Chapter consists of over 200
individuals employed in many fields of work associated with environmental health, both private and publicly employed. We represent
the membership on state government task forces, rule development, planning committees, and legislative action. We offer two
conferences per year, spring and fall. We hold 10 monthly meetings with the exceptions of April and September, and anyone
is welcome to attend.
